Educationalist and project lead working in medical/healthcare education at both national level. Considerable senior experience in medical education, university lecturing, secondary school teaching and in senior management.
My main current role sees me working on the Health Education England Technology Enhanced Learning Programme and leading on its Digital Literacy Project. This project aims to improve the capability and culture in the workforce to support the better use of data, information, knowledge and technology for better health and care outcomes.
Seconded at the end of last year to work as curricula lead on the development of the curriculum framework documentation for the new Nursing Associate role, I worked with a small group on preparing all necessary documentation for HEIs and partners to develop their own programmes from.
In the last four years, other projects I have had responsibility for managing have been a national Health Education England project requiring recommendations on the broadening of the medical foundation programme for training doctors; a review of the generic curriculum for those training in Healthcare Science and a Better Training Better Care Project sponsored by Health Education England (HEE) in East Kent locally.
