General access is now live on the NHS Learning Hub, offering a range of free education and training resources to users across health, care, education charities and the general public.
Once they register with any email address from a UK location, general users will be able to access applicable learning resources on the platform. This is an important step in the development of the Learning Hub into the single point of access for NHS education and training as set out in the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan. This includes the migration of more than 500 programmes from the elearning for healthcare (elfh) hub which has already started.
The Learning Hub includes a range of educational resources and support for the health and care workforce and educators. Organisations can contribute and share a wide variety of self-managed content, knowledge and learning resources including elearning, articles, videos, images and more. The platform also offers individuals access to specialist resources to support their education and professional development locally, regionally and nationally with the ability track and evidence their learning and activity.
There is updated guidance for new and existing contributors on managing audience access which can be found here: Contributing resources – An overview : Learning Hub Support Portal.
Registration to the Learning Hub is free. Here is how to join or to find out more: NHS Learning Hub.
