Did you know… we are looking for your feedback about sharing elearning from the Learning Hub

Rebecca Williams-Lock, 11 December 2023

Platforms Implementation Manager

In this article, Rebecca Williams-Lock, Stakeholder Manager for TEL, shares news of a discovery project that you could be part of. The team are looking into ways of enabling elearning content to be shared from the Learning Hub* to local learning management systems (LMS).

While we use AICC** technology to share many of the programmes hosted on the elearning for healthcare (elfh) Hub, in the future, this content will be migrated to the Learning Hub. The Learning Hub will provide a unified platform and single point of access for learning resources. The platform uses the latest technology, offering a better experience for users, and aligns to government digital standards.

Letting us know how you would like to share elearning content from the Learning Hub on your LMS will enable us to find a solution that meets your needs.

The discovery project will enable us to appreciate:

  • Your requirements when considering the options for sharing elearning content
  • constraints you may face in your organisation
  • if we change the use of AICC links, how it will impact your organisation

We encourage you to share your ideas by completing this quick form. We are particularly interested to hear from Trusts whose LMS does not support AICC.

If you would prefer to access the form from a mobile device, please scan the QR code below:

If you have any questions, or would like to find out more, please email the stakeholder managers for TEL platforms, at england.telstakeholdermanagers@nhs.net

* The Learning Hub was designed to provide easy access to a wide range of educational resources, contributed by professional bodies, Royal Colleges, universities and health and care organisations. The platform is in public beta and new functionality is being developed to meet Government Digital Service Standards.

** AICC is an integration standard which allows information to be transferred securely between Learning Management Systems or other software platforms.
