The Learning Hub is a digital platform that provides easy access to a wide range of education and training resources for the health and care workforce. Organisations and users can contribute and share resources for those in health and care to access.
Colleagues across health and care have been uploading resources. There are now over 700 resources available for the health and care workforce to access and share with colleagues.
Health Education England is developing a new education and training programme to support the 2019/2020 cohort of pre-registration pharmacists whose training and registration has been disrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Interim Foundation Pharmacist Programme (IFPP) is developing a library of resources to support preparations for the General Pharmaceutical Council’s (GPhC) registration assessment and to inform clinical practice, decision-making and patient safety.
This library of resources is now available on the Learning Hub. The training programme team is continuing to add resources to the Learning Hub to provide trainees with a ‘go to place’ for all resources to support their training.
Two examples of these resources are:
The exam game plan – this is a generic resource for all healthcare professionals. It is designed to help deal with exam preparation, revision methods, managing exam day nerves and more. The pack offers pragmatic advice, tips, strategies, templates and short activities, enabling you to focus on the areas which will help you succeed. It will help you to balance all the conflicting challenges of preparing for an exam in the current climate.
IFPP: Microlearning resources – this is a series of short learning sessions which focus on learning in practice.
In the coming weeks, the IFPP will be one of the first contributing stakeholders to have a catalogue on the Learning Hub, enhancing the user journey further by offering a web link to a dedicated area for users to explore and discover all the resources available.
You can sign into the Learning Hub either using your existing e-Learning for Healthcare or NHS OpenAthens username and password or by creating an account on the Learning Hub and using those details.
To access the IFPP resources either search for IFPP or select the links above.
